مقایسه کیفیت زندگی بیماران مبتلا به دیابت نوع 2 مراجعه کننده به انجمن دیابت لارستان با افراد سالم در سال 1393

زمینه و هدف

دیابت یک بیماری شایع همراه با روند افزایشی است که بر تمام جنبه های زندگی مبتلایان به خصوص رضایتمندی و کیفیت زندگی، تاثیرگذار است. هدف از این مطالعه مقایسه کیفیت زندگی بیماران مبتلا به دیابت نوع 2 با افراد سالم در شهرستان لارستان بوده است.

مواد و روش ها

در مطالعه مقطعی حاضر 124 بیمار مبتلا به دیابت نوع 2 بصورت تصادفی منظم از لیست بیماران در انجمن دیابت لارستان و 124 فرد سالم که از نظر سنی و جنسی بصورت گروهی با بیماران همسان شده بودند انتخاب شدند. پرسشنامه ویژگی های فردی و پرسشنامه کیفیت زندگی SF-36 برای کلیه افراد تکمیل شد. داده ها با استفاده از نرم افزار SPSS v.16 و آزمون های تی مستقل و کای اسکوور تجزیه و تحلیل شد.

یافته ها

میانگین و انحراف معیار نمره خلاصه کیفیت زندگی در بیماران مبتلا به دیابت 20 . 19 ± 42 . 57 و در افراد سالم 62 . 15 ± 02 . 69 بود ( 001.P < 0 ) در کلیه ابعاد پرسشنامه نمره کیفیت زندگی بیماران به صورت معنی داری کمتر از افراد سالم بود ( 01.P < 0 ).

نتیجه گیری

ابتلا به دیابت نوع 2 به شدت کیفیت زندگی بیماران را کاهش می دهد و انجام اقدامات لازم در راستای ارتقای کیفیت زندگی این گروه از بیماران ضروری به نظر می رسد.

Comparison of Quality of Life of Patients with Type II Diabetes Referring to Diabetes Association of Larestan with Healthy People in 2013

Introduction and Aims

Diabetes is a disease with high and increasing prevalence rate which can affect all aspects of patients’ life, especially quality and satisfaction of life. The aim of this study was to assess the quality of life in patients with type II diabetes in comparison with healthy people in Larestan.

Materials and Methods

This cross-sectional study was conducted on 124 patients with type II diabetes that were chosen randomly from the patients referred to diabetes association of Larestan and 124 healthy people. Healthy subjects were selected from patients’ neighbors and were grouping matched for age and sex. Demographic questionnaire and SF-36 quality of life questionnaire were completed for all subjects. All statistical analysis was performed by SPSS v.16. Independent t-tests and Chi-square tests were used to analysis data.

Results

The mean and standard deviation of life quality in patients with diabetes and in healthy people were 57.42 ± 19.20 and 69.02 ± 15.62, respectively (P < 0.001). In all aspects, quality of life score was significantly lower than healthy subjects (P < 0.01).

Conclusion

Diabetes type II substantially decrease the quality of life of patients, hence it is necessary to improve their quality of life.
