بررسی نگرش دانشجویان دانشکده علوم پزشکی نیشابور نسبت به رشته تحصیلی و آینده شغلی

چکیده
زمینه و هدف

دانشجویان به عنوان ارکان اساسی دانشگاه در آینده، پیکره اصلی سازمان ها و ارگان های مختلف جامعه را تشکیل می دهند و دیدگاه شان نسبت به رشته تحصیلی و آینده شغلی یکی از عوامل مؤثر بر کیفیت خدمات آموزشی می باشد. این مطالعه با هدف بررسی نگرش دانشجویان دانشکده علوم پزشکی نیشابور نسبت به رشته تحصیلی و آینده شغلی انجام شد.

مواد و روش ها

در پژوهش مقطعی حاضر که در اسفند ماه 1390 بین کلیه دانشجویان دانشکده علوم پزشکی نیشابور صورت گرفته است، ابزار جمع آوری داده ها پرسشنامه ای خود ساخته شامل 34 سؤال بود. داده ها با استفاده از آزمون های کای اسکور و دقیق فیشر در نرم افزار SPSS v.16 تجزیه و تحلیل شد.

یافته ها

میانگین سنی دانشجویان 24/ 1± 54/ 20 سال بود که 61 درصد ایشان مؤنث بودند. میانگین نمره نگرش دانشجویان نسبت به رشته تحصیلی و آینده شغلی به ترتیب 96/ 5± 18/ 44 و 93/ 1± 85/ 46 بدست آمد. با توجه به میانگین نمرات کسب شده، 5/ 67 درصد از دانشجویان نسبت به رشته تحصیلی و 98 درصد نسبت به آینده شغلی خود، نظر مثبت داشتند. همچنین بین سن دانشجویان با دیدگاه آنها نسبت به رشته تحصیلی ( 024/ P=0 ) و آینده شغلی ( 032/ P=0 ) رابطه آماری معنی داری مشاهده شد.

نتیجه گیری

با توجه به نتایج، نگرش اکثریت دانشجویان دانشکده علوم پزشکی نیشابور نسبت به رشته تحصیلی و آینده شغلی شان مثبت می باشد. آشنایی کامل تر افراد با رشته های تحصیلی دانشگاهی قبل از انتخاب رشته و دادن مشاوره خوب به آنها می تواند در تقویت هر چه بیشتر این نوع نگرش ها نقش بسزایی داشته باشد.

چکیده English

Introduction and Aims

The students as key elements of university make the main bodies of the various society organizations. Students’ attitudes towards field of study and future career are one of the factors influencing on quality of educational services. Therefore this study was conducted with the aim of the survey of the students’ attitude of the Neyshabur University of Medical Sciences toward their field of study and future career.

Materials and Methods

This cross sectional study conducted in Feb 2012. The population of the study is comprised of all the students of the Neyshabur University of Medical Sciences. The data collection tool was a self-made questionnaire including 34 questions. Data were analyzed using Chi-square and Fisher’s exact by SPSS v.16.

Results

The student’s average age was 20.54±1.24 and 61% of them were female. Average score of student’s attitude towards field of study and future career estimated 44.18±5.96 and 46.85±1.93 respectively. Also in this study age of students has significant relationship with field of study (P=0.024) and future career (P=0.032).

Conclusion

According to the results, major of students have positive attitude towards their field of study and future career. People’s complete familiarity with the academic fields and good counsel can play significant role for further strengthened attitudes.
