چکیده
مقدمه

تعهد حرفه‌ای یکی از توانمندی‌های کلیدی پزشکان و زیربنای رابطه مبتنی بر اعتماد بین پزشک و بیمار به شمار می‌رود که با پیشرفت‌ها و چالش‌های اخیر، آموزش، ارزیابی و اهمیت توجه به آن دوچندان شده است. مطالعه حاضر به ارزیابی دیدگاه و نگرش دستیاران طب سالمندی به موضوع تعهد حرفه‌ای پرداخته است.

مواد و روش‌ها

این مطالعه به صورت کیفی انجام شد و در آن، هر کدام از اصول شش گانه تعهد حرفه‌ای در قالب یک سناریوی بالینی مطرح و از دستیاران خواسته شد تا ضمن نقد و بررسی آن‌ها، به یک یا دو سوال باز و از پیش تعیین شده در هر مورد پاسخ دهند. سپس داده‌ها با روش آنالیز محتوایی مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفتند.

یافته‌ها

بین دستیاران سال‌های مختلف و متغیرهای سن و جنس دستیاران با نگرش کلی آنان به اصول تعهد حرفه‌ای، تفاوت معناداری وجود نداشت. به طور کلی میزان آشنایی و توجه شرکت‌کنندگان به مفهوم عدالت و تعالی نسبت به سایر اصول تعهد حرفه‌ای کمتر بود.

نتیجه گیری

با وجود دیدگاه مثبت دستیاران نسبت به مفاهیم کلی تعهد حرفه‌ای، همچنان در زمینه آموزش، ارزیابی و پایبندی عملی به آن خلا جدی وجود دارد و لازم است دانشگاه‌های علوم پزشکی به عنوان متولیان آموزش در این زمینه اهتمام بیشتری داشته باشند.

چکیده English

Introduction

Medical professionalism is one of the key competencies of physicians and the basis of a trust-based relationship between physician and patient. It has become more important with recent advances and challenges in medicine. The present study investigated the attitudes of geriatric medicine residents toward medical professionalism and determined areas of difference.

Materials and Methods

In this qualitative study, the six principles of medical professionalism were presented in the form of a clinical scenario and the residents were asked to read them and discuss one or two question(s). Data were evaluated by content analysis method.

Results

There was no significant difference between the variables of age, sex and stages of the residents and their general attitude toward the principles of medical professionalism. In general, the level of familiarity and attention of participants to the concepts of justice and excellence were lower than other principles.

Conclusion

Despite the positive attitude of the residents to the general concepts of medical professionalism, there is still a serious vacuum in the field of education, assessment and adherence. Medical educators should be more concerned with training in this field. Future studies are needed to help identify the teaching mission.
