بررسی تأثیر رایحه بابونه بر شدت درد پس از سزارین در مادران نخست زا

چکیده
مقدمه: سزارین یکی از رایج‌ترین اعمال جراحی در زنان است که درد ناشی از برش جراحی پس از آن، مسئله‌ای مهم برای بیماران محسوب می‌شود. با توجه به عوارض داروهای مسکن، استفاده از روش‌های مکمل مانند رایحه‌درمانی می‌تواند راهکاری ایمن برای کنترل درد باشد. این مطالعه با هدف تعیین تأثیر رایحه بابونه بر شدت درد پس از سزارین در زنان نخست‌زا انجام شد.

روش: این مطالعه کارآزمایی بالینی تصادفی برروی 86 زن که در سال 1396 در بیمارستان حکیم نیشابور تحت سزارین قرار گرفته‌اند، انجام شد. شش ساعت پس از عمل و حداقل ۴ ساعت پس از آخرین مصرف مسکن تزریقی، شدت درد با استفاده از مقیاس دیداری درد (Visual Analogue Scale :VAS) سنجیده شد. در گروه مداخله، محلول بابونه 10 درصد و در گروه کنترل، آب مقطر برروی گاز استریل چکانده شد و به یقه شرکت‌کننده متصل شد تا استنشاق صورت گیرد. ده دقیقه بعد، شدت درد مجدداً ارزیابی شد. داده‌ها با نرم‌افزار SPSS نسخه ۲۰ و آزمون تی مستقل و ضریب همبستگی اسپیرمن تحلیل شد. سطح معنی‌داری کمتر از 05/0 در نظر گرفته شد.

یافته‎ها: پس از مداخله، کاهش معنی‌داری در شدت درد در گروه مداخله مشاهده شد (0/04P=). میانگین شدت درد از 5/9 به 4/1 کاهش یافت.

نتیجه‎گیری: استنشاق رایحه بابونه پس از سزارین در زنان نخست‌زا در کاهش شدت درد مؤثر است. بنابراین، استفاده از این روش توسط پرستاران به‌عنوان یک درمان مکمل برای کاهش درد پس از سزارین توصیه می‌شود.

Introduction: Cesarean section is one of the most common surgical procedures in women, and postoperative pain at the surgical incision site is a major concern for patients. Due to the potential side effects of analgesic medications, complementary methods such as aromatherapy can be considered a safe alternative for pain management. This study aimed to determine the effect of chamomile aroma on the intensity of postoperative pain in primiparous women after cesarean section.

Methods: This randomized clinical trial was conducted on 86 women who underwent cesarean section in 2017 at Hakim Hospital in Neyshabur, Iran. Six hours after surgery and at least four hours after the last injectable analgesic, pain intensity was measured using the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS). In the intervention group, a 10% chamomile solution was dropped onto a piece of sterile gauze and attached to the participant’s collar to be inhaled. In the control group, distilled water was used in the same manner. Pain intensity was reassessed ten minutes after inhalation. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 20, an independent t-test, and the Spearman correlation coefficient. A significance level of p<0.05 was considered.

Results: Following the intervention, there was a significant reduction in pain intensity in the intervention group (p = 0.04). The mean pain score decreased from 5.9 before the intervention to 4.1 after it.

Conclusion: Inhalation of chamomile aroma after cesarean section is effective in reducing pain intensity in primiparous women. Therefore, its use is recommended as a complementary method by nurses for postoperative pain relief after cesarean delivery.
